General FAQs
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking ahead if you are coming in a larger group, on the weekends or are wanting to request something in particular. Please note we do not take bookings for our terraces.
Is there parking nearby?
Limited parking is available at the rear of the building, with entry via Gouldsbury Street and Lennon Lane. Please note there are stairs in the carpark which take you up to street level.
Some streets surrounding Mosman Club have no parking restrictions after 6pm.
Do I need to bring any ID?
As The Fernery Mosman is part of a licensed Club, we ask you to bring a valid government issued ID to sign in and be allowed entry to the venue. Those under 25, we ask you to be prepared to have two government issued ID as proof of age.
Do you take group or function bookings?
Yes, bookings less than 14 guests can book via our reservations page. For larger groups please enquire via our events page or contact our events team directly at events@thefernerymosman.com.au.
How do I become a member and get member pricing?
Membership to Mosman Club is free until 2028 and can be done online before your visit. Members enjoy special pricing on drinks at The Fernery.
Are kids welcome at The Fernery?
Absolutely! We do ask you keep an eye on them while you are visiting and dining at The Fernery and Mosman Club.
Can I get to The Fernery easily by transport?
We are approximately a 9 minute walk from Spit Junction or catch the 100 or 230 which run regularly from Spit Junction along Military Rd. If you are coming by ferry to Mosman Bay Wharf, simply catch the 230 up to the front of the Club.
Is The Fernery accessible?
The Fernery is accessible with a ramp at the front door of the venue via our lift from our reception foyer to level 2. We have a ramp for wheels chairs for bookings in City View. Bathroom access however is on the Ground Level.
What happens if it rains — is The Fernery covered?
The Fernery has both open-air terraces and covered indoor spaces including the City View Restaurant, so we’re open rain or shine.
